The finder searches every station in this corpus. It does not rank them by anything we were paid to prefer, and it does not hide a unit because its listing is incomplete — a station whose manufacturer never published a surge rating still appears, labelled not stated.

How to read the results
The figure on the right of each result is its capacity in watt-hours, and beneath it the percentage by which it differs from the median for its own capacity band. The specification row leads with runtime at full output — capacity divided by continuous output. Below that sits energy per kilogram against the band median, because “portable” is a claim rather than a specification.
Where a band holds fewer than 8 listings, no comparison is shown. That is a deliberate limit, not a missing feature.
The runtime figure is arithmetic, and it is optimistic. It is the published capacity divided by the published output, which is the best you could ever get. Real inverters are 85 to 90% efficient, so the usable figure is lower — and no listing on this site states its inverter efficiency, so we do not estimate it. Treat the number as a ceiling and a way to compare like with like, not as a promise.
Why incomplete listings still appear
Coverage across this corpus is uneven: continuous output is published by nearly every listing, a surge rating by about half. A filter that dropped everything it could not confirm would discard half the catalogue the moment you asked about surge — and the units it discarded would not be worse, only less completely described.
So a filter here excludes a unit only when its listing positively contradicts what you asked for.
What the finder cannot tell you
It cannot tell you inverter efficiency, because no listing in this corpus states it — which is why the runtime figure is a ceiling rather than a promise. It cannot tell you recharge time, because AC input ratings are too sparsely published to compare. And it cannot tell you whether a station is well built, because that is not a specification.
